Global Strategic Marketing Manager Central, NJ

The key attributes the Marketing Manager will have gained working for corporations (not an ad agency) are:

  • knows how to go to market with a product -knows how to create and position a brand -exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ability to directly lead one global product manager, but indirectly lead and influence 16+ global marketing leaders/peers throughout the world

The position is responsible for marketing leadership within a $450M business unit focused on sharp products. Reports to senior level executive and offers significant advancement opportunities

Ideal candidate will lead all facets of marketing i.e. strategy and positioning, launches and discontinuations, new idea assessments, development of product line strategies and positioning, establishment and achievement of sales and financial performance expectations, customer needs assessment, market sensing activities, environmental, and competitive assessment. Will travel as needed, probably in the 10% range.
